Carolyn Sawin

Carolyn Sawin is an experienced academic professional with a strong background in education, writing, and student support. Currently serving as an Academic Coach at Mansfield Hall since November 2022, Carolyn provides assistance to neurodivergent college students, focusing on academic skills and leading student events. Previous roles include Freelance Writer and Editor for the UVM Foundation, where Carolyn crafted communication for diverse audiences, and Paraeducator at Colchester High School, advocating for at-risk students and implementing individualized learning plans. Carolyn's teaching experience includes positions at Saint Michael's College and Manlius Pebble Hill School, where undergraduate and high school students benefited from instruction and mentoring.
