Community Engagement Coach at Mansfield Hall

Gina Russin is a Community Engagement Coach at Mansfield Hall since August 2022, previously serving as an Employment Consultant for the Vermont Association of Business, Industry & Rehabilitation, where involvement in the WorkVT 2.0 project focused on job placement for clients navigating social security. Contributions to Steps to End Domestic Violence included facilitating connections to resources as a Hotline Intern, while experiences as a Sales Associate at Print and Mail University of Vermont involved independent problem-solving across various customer service tasks. Additionally, Gina has held roles as a Telephone Surveyor Supervisor at the Center for Rural Studies, Summer Youth Program Coordinator for AmeriCorps NCCC, and worked as a Cashier and Pizza Maker at Domino's. Gina graduated from the University of Vermont in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Mansfield Hall

Mansfield Hall supports young adults attending college and transitioning to independence. We are a comprehensive residential program that is individualized and flexible based on student needs. We serve students who have learning disabilities, mild autism, Asperger’s syndrome, nonverbal learning disabilities, ADHD, executive functioning impairments, or other students with unique characteristics that may pose challenges in the transition to college life. We are much more than just a college support program. Our goal is to provide necessary skills training in all areas of adaptive functioning so our students can flourish academically, socially, vocationally, and emotionally. While learning at the local colleges, living in a supported and integrated environment, giving to others, and engaging in the community, we believe that our students will be better prepared for, and more successful in, today’s world. Our residences are located in the Burlington, Vermont, Madison, Wisconsin, and Eugene, Oregon, where there are many options for engaging in school and life beyond the classroom.
