Mahmoud Elmeligy

Mahmoud Elmeligy holds extensive experience in academia and leadership within the field of engineering. Currently serving as the Acting President and Vice President of Mansoura University since October 2012, Elmeligy previously held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Director of the Soil Mechanics Laboratory at the same institution. Additionally, Elmeligy has been a Professor at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport since January 2006. Elmeligy began a research associate role at the Technical University of Munich in 1997. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering from the Technical University of Wroclaw, a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Mansoura University.
