Raul Bermejo

Raul Bermejo is a highly experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Mantel since October 2025, with a concurrent role as a Fellow at Good Data Institute since September 2022. Previously, Raul held various positions at Versent, including Senior AI/ML Engineer, AI Engineer, and Data Engineer from August 2022 to October 2025. Prior experience includes Data Scientist roles at Multitudes and as a Self-Employed Data Scientist, as well as a Data Engineer at the Ministry for the Environment, where significant contributions were made to the Ministry's Data Management Strategy. Raul's earlier positions include Data Scientist at Intelligent Fiber Optic Systems Corporation and Research Assistant at the University of Groningen, where work focused on big data simulations and mathematical modeling. Raul possesses a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Groningen, along with an European Baccalaureate from European School Munich.
