Ryan Dunn

Co-Founder and CEO at Mantis Composites

Ryan Dunn began their professional career in 2010 as a Paid Summer Counselor at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. In 2014, they took on the role of Summer Camp Coordinator and Instructor, where they were responsible for student, volunteer, and paid counselor organization, digital and physical resource management, robotic, electronic, and magnetic curriculum development, and general computer maintenance and repair. Also in 2014, Ryan became Co-Founder and CEO of Mantis Composites Inc., where they managed external relations, employment pipelines, and company direction. During their tenure, Mantis Composites 3D printed parts with the highest specific strength of any 3D printing method while under an NSF SBIR grant.

Ryan Dunn attended Albuquerque Academy from 2010 to 2014, with a focus in Computer Programing, Rocket Design, and Jet Engine construction. Ryan then attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2014 to 2016, studying Above Atmosphere Propulsion. In August 2014, they obtained the ASA 101 & 102 certification from the American Sailing Association. Ryan also obtained the Ham Radio Technician Level certification from the Federal Communications Commission.
