Beant Kaur has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Beant is currently working at Mantra4Change as a Research and Design Lead, where they are responsible for leading and co-creating educational programs with the government. Prior to this, Beant was a Co-Founder of Unlearning, an organization focused on enabling communities to become socially aware and breaking stereotypes.
In 2020, Beant worked as a Fellow at Sanjhi Sikhiya, where they focused on capacity building of education department officials and strengthening government school structures. Beant coordinated with various officials, conducted training sessions for teachers, and facilitated parental investment sessions.
In 2018-2019, Beant worked as a Case Manager at Heartland Alliance, overseeing residential programs for refugee children and victims of trafficking. Beant has also worked as a Field Investigator at Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, conducting research and data collection on human trafficking and child rights, respectively.
Beant's work experience also includes a role as a Research Fellow at Panjab University, where they conducted research on disabilities and interacted with university students to assess their problems.

Beant Kaur completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, Political Science, and English Literature from Punjabi University in the years 2012 to 2015. Beant then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Human Rights and Duties from Panjab University, Chandigarh, from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Beant Kaur is enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in Human Rights at Panjab University, Chandigarh, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete by 2023.
