Karl Morand

Karl Morand is a Founding Lead Engineer at MANUAL, leading the company's product and engineering efforts. Prior to this, Karl worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer at Tembo and as a VP of Product & Engineering at Coterie, where Karl oversaw engineering, product, QA, and design departments. Karl has a background in software development, including experience as a Software Developer at Freelance and as a Software Engineer at FamilyTech. Additionally, Karl has served in the US Army as an Infantryman and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from Fordham University.
