Amy Williams

Amy Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in information security and governance. Amy is currently employed as the SVP, Head of Information Security, GRC at Manufacturers Bank since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Information Security Officer at MassMutual starting from December 2020. Amy also served as a Senior Information Security Manager at Intuit from February 2019 to August 2020, where they implemented a vendor risk management tool and achieved full compliance with regulatory frameworks. Before that, they were the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Human Longevity, Inc. from October 2016 to February 2019, responsible for establishing and enforcing security and privacy GRC programs. Amy also has experience as a Security and Risk Management Analyst at ViaSat Inc. in 2016 and as an Assistant Vice President at LPL Financial Services from 2007 to 2015, where they focused on vendor risk management and privacy. Amy started their career as an Assistant Operations Manager at Pindar Set Inc. from September 2002 to April 2007, overseeing production processes and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Amy Williams attended San Diego State University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In addition to their degree, Amy obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in July 2015.
