Haroon Alvi

Haroon Alvi is a Research Engineer in Intelligent Robotics at the Manufacturing Technology Centre since August 2022, with previous experience as a FastFutures Learner at Avado, focusing on developing practical skills for various sectors. In the biomedical field, Haroon worked as a Biomedical Product Engineer at Bendable Electronics and Sensing Technologies, designing innovative 3D printable human-machine interface gloves with force-feedback mechanisms. Haroon also contributed to the creative industry as an Adobe After Effects Consultant and Motion Graphic Designer on Fiverr, managing numerous projects for international clients. Earlier roles included product engineering at SIGMA Labs, leadership positions in the NUST Debating Society and NUST Fine Arts Club, and teaching at Knowledge Inn Academy. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
