Keith Waller is a seasoned professional in the construction and nuclear sectors, currently serving as Programme Director for the Construction Innovation Hub at MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre since October 2022 and has held the same title at the Construction Innovation Hub since December 2018. With extensive experience as Development Director at Costain from December 2006 to September 2022 and as Non Executive Chairman at Xeropoint from March 2020 to July 2022, Keith has also contributed significantly to government initiatives as a Senior Adviser at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority from July 2011 to December 2018, following a secondment to the Office for Nuclear Development in the Department of Energy and Climate Change from January 2010 to July 2011. Keith's earlier career included a role as Head of Nuclear at Taylor Woodrow Construction from January 2003 to December 2006. Keith holds a BSc Hons in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 1986, and attended Brentwood School in the UK from 1975 to 1982.

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) develops and proves innovative manufacturing processes and technologies in an agile, low risk environment, in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. They focus on delivering bespoke manufacturing system solutions for their customers.They operate some of the most advanced manufacturingequipment in the world, and employ a team of highly skilled engineers, many of whom are leading experts in their field. This creates a high quality environment for the development and demonstration of new processes and technologies on an industrial scale.The MTC’s areas of expertise are directly relevant to both large and small companies, and are applicable across a wide range of industry sectors. The MTC’s members include global manufacturing companies from multiple sectors. Research partners include the University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham, Loughborough University and TWI Ltd.The MTC is part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, supported by Innovate UK.
