Yazan Qarout, PhD, MIET is currently a Committee Member at BSI and a Senior Research Engineer at MTC. With a background in AI applications, Yazan has experience in spearheading transformative projects, shaping AI strategies, and leading innovation initiatives. Prior to their current roles, Yazan worked as a Data Scientist in the education industry and as a Sales Engineer marketing medical equipment. Yazan also has experience in machine learning consultation and prospect research, as well as internships in automation methods and pharmaceutical maintenance.
