Amanda Schulze

Amanda Schulze is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Lead at the School of Health & Counselling at Manukau Institute of Technology since March 2021, with previous experience as a facilitator for Inspiring Communities and roles in community engagement and health promotion at the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. Amanda has a background in health education and promotion, having worked with the Auckland District Health Board's Education Unit, and has held positions that involved research and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Psychology with honors from The University of Auckland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from Auckland University of Technology, and a Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching from Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, among others.
