Don Lindsay

Don Lindsay recently retired after a successful career of 18 years as President and CEO of Teck Resources Limited, Canada’s largest diversified mining, mineral processing and metallurgical company.

Mr. Lindsay’s previous experience includes almost two decades with CIBC World Markets Inc., where he ultimately served as President after periods as Head of Investment and Corporate Banking and Head of the Asia Pacific Region.

Mr. Lindsay currently serves on the Board of Directors for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, Alpine Canada, York House School, and is an Honorary Governor of the Royal Ontario Museum. He was the Chair of the Business Council of Canada, Chair of the International Council on Mining and Metals, as well as Chair of the Board of Governors for Mining and Metals at the World Economic Forum. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has been the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Windsor and Honorary Doctorate of Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
