Elaine Ng

Elaine Ng has extensive experience in procurement and category management. Elaine is currently the Head of Category Management and Country Cluster for Asia Procurement at Manulife, a role they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Procurement for Emerging Markets and Malaysia at Manulife from January 2022 to June 2023. Before joining Manulife, Elaine worked as the Head of Procurement for Malaysia at Manulife Malaysia from May 2019. Elaine also has previous experience as the Head of Procurement at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad from September 2018 to April 2019. Earlier in their career, they held various procurement roles at OCBC Bank, including Head of Central Procurement Office from April 2016 to August 2018, and Vice President of the Central Procurement Office from May 2011 to April 2016. Prior to their time at OCBC Bank, they worked as a Manager of IT Programme Management at Malaysia Airlines from October 2006 to May 2011, where they were responsible for project and program management.

Elaine Ng completed their education in 2000 at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, majoring in Computing in IT. Elaine obtained additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in November 2010, Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI in December 2009, and Leadership Mindsets from LinkedIn in July 2021.
