Thomas Wood

Thomas Wood has a background in biochemistry and research, with experience at various prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Imperial College London. Currently working as a Research Scientist I at Manus Bio, Thomas is involved in developing a biocatalyst for natural product generation using a novel biosynthetic pathway. Prior to this role, Thomas conducted research on the pathogenesis of Shigella species, studied bacterial infections and immune responses, and characterized secretion systems of pathogens like Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Thomas has also mentored students and contributed to the scientific community through various publications.
