Shanna Heath

Shanna Heath is a seasoned instructor and developmental editor currently serving as the Head of Instruction at Manuscripts, where responsibilities include the development and management of courses aimed at helping authors, particularly in the Modern Author Accelerator. With experience as a nonfiction writing instructor and developmental editor, Shanna fosters community among authors while providing guidance on writing craft and innovative storytelling techniques. Previous roles include Digital Media and Education Manager at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston, where Shanna led educational program expansions and managed digital content, and teaching artist positions that focused on youth development through creative drama at Arden Theatre Company. Shanna’s educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts from Simmons University, a Master of Education from Widener University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Kent State University.
