Dr Rachel Jarvis Martin

Dr. Rachel Jarvis Martin is currently serving as the Education Officer at Manx Wildlife Trust since February 2025, previously holding the role of PhD Researcher at Twycross Zoo from October 2020 to January 2025, collaborating with the University of Nottingham and the University of Birmingham. Dr. Martin has diverse experience in wildlife conservation and education, including positions as a Field Assistant and Education Officer at Manx Wildlife Trust, a Veterinary Receptionist at Milan Veterinary Practice, and a Volunteer at Curraghs Wildlife Park. Academic credentials include a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and Science from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Chester, and a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science from the University of Liverpool. Additionally, Dr. Martin has contributed to various research projects and ecological surveys, enhancing knowledge in conservation and animal welfare.
