Gustavo Vieira

Gustavo Vieira is a Lead Machine Learning Scientist at Manychat since September 2025, following a role as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Factored from January 2024 to August 2025. Prior to that, Gustavo served as the Senior Data Science Team Lead at Raízen, a major Brazilian company resulting from a Shell joint venture, where leadership in a team of Data Scientists achieved a 4% increase in Demand Forecasting accuracy, translating to over R$12 million in annual benefits. Previous experience includes Data Science Lead and co-founder at Tyde - Quantitative Investments, involvement in software development at GAFIT IT Solutions, and early academic research roles. Gustavo holds a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, a Bachelor’s in Computer and Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde, and another Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
