Aleksei Romanov

Aleksei Romanov has extensive experience in the field of 3D graphics, currently serving as a 3D Graphics Engineer at Mapbox since November 2022. Prior to this role, Aleksei worked as a Senior 3D Graphics Engineer at Varjo from November 2018 to December 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining and developing cross-platform real-time rendering systems for training applications. Aleksei's earlier experience includes a tenure as Lead 3D Graphics Software Engineer at Kt group (formerly Transas) from February 2006 to November 2018, focusing on an in-house engine (Frigate) supporting large terrains and advanced rendering features.
