Alex Maloshtan

Alex Maloshtan is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in routing and navigation technologies, currently serving at Mapbox since February 2022. Prior to Mapbox, Alex held various roles at Promwad from April 2016 to February 2022, including Head of FPGA & SoC unit and Project Manager. Alex's career began at the B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics, specializing in quantum optics research from 2004 to 2016, complemented by a guest researcher position at Bergische Universität Wuppertal in 2010. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a postgraduate degree in Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Methods from Belarusian State University.
