Lucia Plugaru

Lucia Plugaru has worked in various roles since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Process Trainer at Genpact. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer as a Freelancer. In 2015, they worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at AaltoInvest Ltd. In 2016, they worked as a Lead Front-End Engineer at Man Group. In 2017, they worked as a Front-End (incl. Mobile) Engineer at Pionix. Since 2018, they have been working as a Front-End Engineer at Mapillary, where they have made the Mapillary web app scalable and decoupled it into micro-frontends. Lucia has also sped up twice the app loading, development app compilation, and deployment time, as well as worked on progressive migration of static pages from nunjucks to Next.

Lucia Plugaru has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Merchandise, and Tourism from the Academia de Studii Economice din București, which they obtained between 2006 and 2009. Lucia then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same school between 2009 and 2011. In 2015, they received a Professional Enhancement Certificate in Web Developer - PHP/MySQL programming from Avantaj Consulting.
