Jasper Schuurmans is an accomplished professional in the field of technology and engineering, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at MAPIQ since January 2013. Prior to this role, Jasper was a board member at Woningbouwvereniging Daal en Berg from January 2011 to June 2015 and founded VirtuaLock, where Jasper worked from 2009 to 2015. Jasper's academic journey includes a PhD student position at Delft University of Technology, focusing on the application of computer models to understand neurological dysfunction in the spinal cord from April 2005 to October 2009. Jasper holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed between 2002 and 2005 and 1999 and 2002, respectively, after attending Aloysius College Den Haag from 1990 to 1999.
