Giselle Valdeiro

Giselle Valdeiro has extensive experience in executive assistance, currently serving as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Executive Chair of the Board at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since April 2020. Prior to this role, Giselle worked at Alignvest Management Corporation as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner from June 2012 to August 2019, and at CPP Investment Board as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO for a brief period in early 2012. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Assistant to the Special Advisor to the Governor at Bank of Canada and roles at RBC Capital Markets and Dubai Investment Group, where responsibilities included supporting high-level executives. Giselle holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accounting and Economics from St. Andrew's College, India, obtained between 1990 and 1993.
