Jitendra Sagili

Jitendra Sagili is an accomplished food technology professional with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Chief Innovation and Food Technology Officer at Maple Leaf Foods Inc, Jitendra has also held the position of Chief R&D and Food Technology Officer and Vice President - Research, Development & Technology. In addition, Jitendra is a Member of the Board of Advisors at Tufts University Center for Cellular Agriculture (TUCCA). Previous roles include Assistant Vice President at OSI Industries, Director, Senior Manager, and Senior Food Scientist at JMFG - Smithfield Foods, as well as Food Technologist and Senior Food Scientist at ConAgra Foods. Jitendra holds a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently furthering education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
