Michele Riley

Vice Principal at Maple Leaf International School

Michele Riley holds a diploma in Montessori Teaching from the Association Montessori International in London, England; a B.A. in Psychology from Mt. Allison University in Canada, and a M.Ed. in Special Education and Psychometrics from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Michele has been an educator since 1981, starting out in the local system and joining Maple Leaf International School in 1999. She has taught students ranging in age from 4 to 11 years as a classroom teacher, a Special Education teacher and IT teacher in the local system and at Maple Leaf, she taught English and Learning Strategies to students in Grades 9 – 11. Michele also had her own private practice as an Educational Diagnostician for 12 years. Michele Riley is a national of Trinidad and Tobago and is married with two sons.
