Lisa Kalamar, LCSW, has extensive experience in foster care and social work. Currently serving as Foster Care Director at Maple Star Colorado since December 2015, Lisa oversees the certification and training of foster homes, youth placements, and supervision of case management personnel. Previously, Lisa held the position of Foster Care Placement Coordinator at Ariel Clinical Services, managing certification and compliance for foster homes. Lisa's background includes clinical experience in therapeutic riding and program development, internships focusing on at-risk youth assessments, and foundational roles in retail management. Academically, Lisa possesses a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, a specialization in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies, and a Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in American Multi-Cultural Studies.
