Kathleen McNichol has over 12 years of experience in marketing and communications. From 2007 to present, they have served as the Senior Director of Global Marketing at Maplesoft, where they have successfully developed and executed marketing plans. Kathleen is known for their strategic thinking and exceptional writing skills. Kathleen has a talent for storytelling and has the ability to transform ideas into efficient digital content programs. Kathleen is skilled in streamlining processes and implementing innovative marketing techniques. In 2017, Kathleen founded Dreamers Creative Writing, an online business dedicated to heartfelt writing. Kathleen quickly grew the website to an average of 40,000 unique visitors per month and launched a successful print magazine in 2018. Before Maplesoft, Kathleen worked as a marketing and communications specialist at Execulink Telecom.

Kathleen McNichol's education history begins with their completion of High School/Secondary Diploma Programs at OSCVI. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Georgian College, where they earned a Diploma in Business. Moving forward, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English at York University from 2002 to 2007. In 2012, Kathleen enrolled at Athabasca University, where they studied Writing and New Media, as well as Literary Studies, and obtained a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2017. Additionally, they took part in a Strategic Marketing Management Certificate program at Schulich School of Business - York University in 2013. Currently, Kathleen is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Social Science with a focus on Career Writing at Tilburg University, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
