Isabel Mills is an experienced educator and researcher with a strong background in physics and STEM education. Currently serving as a Physics Teacher at Coursello since August 2022, Isabel engages high school students in online physics courses. At Western Washington University, Isabel holds the position of Research Associate, contributing to an NSF-funded grant aimed at enhancing STEM teacher preparation, facilitating virtual conferences, and utilizing data visualization tools. Previous roles include a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Substitute Teacher, and Student Teacher in various educational settings, where Isabel implemented NGSS-aligned lessons and assessed student performance. Isabel also has experience as a STEM Coordinator with AmeriCorps VISTA, where responsibilities included volunteer management and program development for underserved students. Isabel holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Western Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from Whitman College.
