Vanessa Tan

Vanessa Tan has extensive experience in treasury and banking, currently serving as the Director of Group Treasury at Mapletree since August 2011, progressing through roles from Manager to Vice President. Prior to Mapletree, Vanessa worked as a Proprietary Equity Trader at CIMB Bank Singapore for a brief period, and held the position of Assistant Vice President in Offshore Corporate Banking at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where responsibilities included evaluating M&A deals and loan negotiations. Vanessa's career began at Citibank as a Business Development Manager, focusing on SME segment growth, and included a role as Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank, targeting commercial client acquisitions. Vanessa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a major in Finance from Singapore Management University, complemented by additional studies at the University of Virginia.
