Apekshita Alkesh

Apekshita Alkesh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

From November 2022, they have been working at MapmyIndia in the Founders' Office.

Prior to that, from July 2021 to November 2022, Apekshita worked at Invest India as an Investment Specialist.

Apekshita also gained experience at Cornell Dyson School of Applied Economics & Management, where they served as a Program Assistant, Diversity and Inclusion from November 2018 to May 2021.

During their time at Cornell University from August 2018 to May 2021, Apekshita held the position of Chief Teaching Assistant.

In 2020, they had internships at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. as a Marketing Intern and at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Summer Intern.

In 2019, Apekshita worked at Property Council of Australia as a Marketing and Advocacy Intern | CALS Global Fellow. Apekshita spearheaded a new Marketing and Communications Strategy, optimized email marketing analytics, and supported event management and collateral design.

In 2018, they gained experience at Emzingo as a Winter Extern, Social Strategy Consulting, where they developed a social business model canvas, created marketing plans and collateral, and projected client growth trajectory.

Apekshita also worked as a Summer Intern at the National Institute for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) in the Government of India in 2018. Apekshita conducted research on a regulated crowdfunding platform utilizing Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, published an article, and collaborated on risk mitigation measures for the platform's regulatory framework.

Lastly, from January 2013 to May 2018, Apekshita volunteered at Ibtada, where they educated and empowered young ladies in rural areas of India, conducted field research for increased school enrollment, and created educational supplements on women's health and safety.

Apekshita Alkesh pursued their education starting from 2010 to 2017 at Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram, where they completed their Senior School education. In 2017, they attended Cornell University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics and Management in 2021. During their time at Cornell, they also participated in an exchange program at The University of Sydney Business School in 2019, focusing on Business Administration. Additionally, in July 2019, Apekshita obtained certification in Email Marketing from HubSpot.
