Syed Farman Haider

Syed Farman Haider has extensive work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and technology services. Syed Farman started their career as a CAD Operator at Cosmic Technographic in 1999 and then worked as an Assistant GIS Engineer at RMSI from 2000 to 2006. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing spatial information, editing and mapping data, and maintaining GIS data storage structures.

Following that, Haider joined Luminous Engineering and Technology Services Private Limited as a Senior GIS Engineer from 2006 to 2007. Their responsibilities included resource planning and scheduling, time estimation, and quality control (QC) lead position.

Moving forward, they worked as an Assistant Manager at IL&FS Technologies Ltd from 2007 to 2019, gaining experience in management and leadership roles.

In 2019, Haider became a Consultant at M.S. Technologies, where they contributed their expertise until 2021.

Currently, they are associated with MapmyIndia, starting in 2021, in a role related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with a focus yet to be provided.

Syed Farman Haider's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Geography, which they obtained from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1996. Syed Farman then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the same institution, completing it in 1998. Continuing their studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, Syed obtained a Master's Degree in Geography between 1998 and 2000. Finally, in 2000-2001, they pursued an Advance Diploma in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Jamia Millia Islamia.
