Victor Desrosiers

Victor Desrosiers, P.Eng. is a proficient Mine Engineer with extensive experience across multiple leading mining companies. Currently employed at Maptek since June 2021, Victor specializes in LiDAR surveys, automated surveying processes, and Python scripting for mining SDKs, while also providing training to clients. Previously, Victor held positions at Barrick Gold Corporation, Golder, Glencore Zinc, Howden Simsmart, Mine Canadian Malartic, and Suncor Energy, demonstrating expertise in rock mass characterization, ground control, project management, ventilation design, and operational supervision. Victor earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from McGill University between 2012 and 2016.
