Mary Margaret Milley has a diverse work experience, having held positions in both the private and public sectors. In 2021, they began working as a Business Analyst at Mapware, a pre-series A technology start-up. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant for Cohen Veterans Network, a non-profit dedicated to providing direct mental health care to Post 9/11 Veterans and their families, and as a Facility Product Supply Sales Consultant for Cintas. In 2017, they co-founded a digital mental health company, Viyb Health LLC, while in business school full-time. Additionally, they worked as a Video Marketer for Mighty Media Studios, a Public Relations Manager and Public Relations Specialist for BP, a Veterans Affairs Policy Advisor for the Office of the Governor - State of Texas, a Research Intern for the International Crisis Group, and a Research Assistant for the Institute for National Strategic Studies - Center for the Study of Chinese Military Affairs. In 2009, they completed a summer internship as a Public Affairs Intern for the United States Department of Defense.
Mary Margaret Milley completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Asian Studies from the College of the Holy Cross. Mary Margaret also studied Mandarin and Chinese at Peking University. In 2010, Milley completed a study abroad program in Mandarin and Chinese at CET Academic Programs. From 2015 to 2017, Milley attended The Second City in Chicago. Finally, Milley received their Master of Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare and Entrepreneurship Studies from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
