Rik Blokland

Rik Blokland has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Private Equity and M&A Tax Advisor at PwC, then in 2012 they moved to PwC Nederland as an Advisor Valuations & Strategy. In 2013, they began working as a Tax Advisor at Otterspeer, Haasnoot & Partners. In 2017, Rik took on several roles, including Tax Manager at MaxGrip, Tax Specialist a.i. at NN, and Interim Tax Manager | Tax Consultant at Blokland Interim & Consultancy. In 2018, they began working as Tax Manager at Kiwa. Rik currently works as Head of Tax and Treasury at Curaeos since 2019, and in 2021 they became CFO at Maqqie. Additionally, Rik has been a part of the Raad van Advies en Toezicht for Stichting Belastingwinkel Rotterdam since 2007.

Rik Blokland attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2004 to 2010. Rik obtained a LLB 1 in Law in 2005, a BSc in Fiscal Economics in 2007, and a MSc in Fiscal Economics in 2008. Rik also obtained a BSc in Financial Economics in 2009 and a MSc in Financial Economics in 2010.
