Chi Nnadi has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer at MARA since April 2021. Before that, they founded Sustainability International in 2007 and held the role of Founder until September 2021. At Sustainability International, they focused on using technology to address accountability and transparency in the emerging world, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
In 2017, Chi Nnadi founded Sela Technologies, where they served as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer until December 2020. Sela Technologies developed innovative SaaS technologies for sustainability and inclusion, creating a digital ecosystem to enable collaboration between investors, providers, and recipients for positive social impact.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Chi Nnadi worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in 2013. In this role, they conducted in-depth analysis and developed strategies for a Fortune 500 discount-store chain, delivering significant cost savings for the client.
Before that, Chi Nnadi held the position of Vice President, Media, and Entertainment at Official Mobile Applications, Inc. in 2013. Chi played a crucial role in developing and implementing market penetration strategies for North America, establishing partnerships with talent agencies and entertainers.
In 2012, Chi Nnadi pursued their MBA at The Wharton School, and from 2010 to 2013, they served as the Director of Content and Media at NoireTV Africa. In this role, they developed a five-year content strategy, resulting in immediate cost savings and the acquisition of African-themed original titles for airing in Nigeria and the United States.
Chi Nnadi began their career as a VJ at MTV Networks from 2003 to 2006, where they conducted interviews with notable musicians and politicians. Overall, Chi Nnadi's work experience showcases their expertise in entrepreneurship, sustainability, consulting, media, and entertainment.
Chi Nnadi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater, Film & Television from UCLA, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. They later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at The Wharton School from 2012 to 2013.
