Stephen Poindexter

Stephen Poindexter is an experienced pastoral leader currently serving as the Pastor of Administration at Maranatha Bible Church in Akron since August 2022. With a diverse background that includes roles as Director of Member Care and Missionary at IBMGlobal, and Pastor at Wellspring Bible Church in Alliance, Ohio, Stephen has demonstrated a commitment to ministry and member support. Stephen's missionary work with ABWE involved theological training and leadership development in rural Liberia, West Africa. Prior to their ministry roles, Stephen gained valuable experience in construction management with Lennar and as a housing inspector with the City of Raleigh Housing Authority. Educational credentials include a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Ministry from Clarks Summit University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology and theological studies from Shepherds Theological Seminary.
