Luis Romero

Luis Romero is the current Chief Financial Officer at Marand Builders. Prior to their current position, they held the title of Controller at Black Box Network Services from August 2008 to June 2009. In this role, they were responsible for generating budgets and evaluating variances to budget by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. Luis also oversaw daily operations in the finance department to ensure accuracy and maintained accounting policies and recommended changes to procedures to ensure all financial transactions were in accordance with US GAAP.

In addition to their role at Black Box Network Services, Luis has also assumed CFO duties and responsibilities during a transitioning period at NCT and reported directly to the CEO and Board of Directors. During their time at NCT, they prepared monthly financial reports for the bank to ensure compliance with bank guidelines and managed the company’s cash flow. Luis also evaluated possible acquisition targets, conducted financial analysis for potential transactions, actively participated in the due diligence process, and assisted in the negotiation and completion of legal documents.

Thanks to their experience and expertise in the financial industry, Luis has been able to successfully navigate Marand Builders through various challenges and obstacles. Luis has been instrumental in helping the company grow and expand its operations, while also maintaining a strong financial foundation. Under their leadership, Marand Builders has become one of the most successful construction companies in the United States.

Luis Romero has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American InterContinental University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from Universidad Santa Maria Venezuela.

A direct report to Luis Romero is and Jeannette Alvarado - VP, Finance. They work with Nathan Hayes - SVP, Eric Mungo - VP, Operations. Luis Romero reports to Francisco Alvarado, President & CEO.
