Amber Liao (Huaan)

Amber (Huaan) Liao is an experienced investment banking analyst currently working at Marathon Capital since June 2023, focusing on research, due diligence, and financial modeling in the clean energy sector. Previously, Amber served as a graduate consultant at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, researching waste-to-energy investment opportunities. Amber's earlier roles include an investment banking summer analyst at Marathon Capital, an analyst at Beyond The Billion™, and a teaching assistant at Georgetown University. Additionally, Amber has authored a published book and has held internships at The Brookings Institution and Squirrel Ai Learning. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in International Finance and Economics Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Amber also studied at Esade as a visiting student and graduated from Portsmouth Abbey School.
