Shilpi Sunil Kumar

Shilpi Sunil Kumar is an experienced professional with a strong background in economics and regulatory policy. Currently serving as the Regulatory and Policy Manager at MARA since May 2025, Shilpi previously held the role of Senior Regulatory Analyst at The AES Corporation, where collaboration with internal stakeholders and in-depth policy analysis were central responsibilities. Academic experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University and as a Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar at the University of Notre Dame, alongside earlier roles as an Instructor and Research Assistant in various prestigious institutions. Shilpi holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by a Master's degree from the same institution, and has completed additional degrees in economics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and Delhi University.
