Amy Schurer

Amy Schurer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amy started their career as a Substitute Teacher & After School Care Program Coordinator at Guelph Community Christian School in 2017. In 2015, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Connon Nurseries CBV Holdings, where they provided excellent customer service at the greenhouse. From 2019 to 2020, Amy worked as a Recreation Therapist at The Wellington Nursing and Retirement Home in Hamilton and CAMA Woodlands Long Term Care. In these roles, they focused on enriching the quality of life for residents through enjoyable activities and building relationships with residents and their families. In 2020, Amy transitioned to the field of data delivery and joined Marble as a Records Processing Specialist. Amy communicated with healthcare providers and law offices to ensure the timely release of medical documents. Amy quickly progressed within the company and was promoted to Senior Data Delivery Specialist in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Data Delivery Team Lead at Marble, where they lead a team of six individuals, handles complex customer escalations, and supports their team in all aspects of their work. Amy is dedicated, organized, and a valuable member of the Marble team.

Amy Schurer completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Child, Youth and Family at the University of Guelph from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, they obtained a Diploma in Recreation Therapy from Mohawk College, specializing in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy. Additionally, Amy holds certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the Canadian Red Cross (obtained in November 2019), as well as Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) from the Crisis Prevention Institute (obtained in March 2019).
