Jonathan Frederick

Jonathan Frederick serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina since June 2022, overseeing a variety of educational programs and community events. Concurrently, Jonathan holds a board member position at the NC Science Network, contributing to statewide efforts in science and technology education. Jonathan has an extensive background in science communication and education, including roles as an Advisory Board Member for Carolina Public Humanities and as Principal Investigator for the Statewide Star Party, which promotes astronomy education. Formerly, Jonathan held significant positions at Morehead Planetarium & Science Center, where responsibilities included directing the North Carolina Science Festival and developing inclusive science communication programs. Jonathan is also the founder and producer of the Carolina Science Cafe, facilitating public engagement in science. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.
