Christian Sternberg, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Real Estate Portfolio Management at Marcard, Stein & Co since January 2022. Prior to this role, Christian held significant positions at Commerz Real AG, including Managing Director of Portfolio Management for Commerz Real Fund Management S.à r.l. and Head of Portfolio Management at Commerz Real KVG from December 2019 to December 2021. Christian’s career also includes over 15 years at MPC Capital AG, where responsibilities encompassed structuring and managing investment funds, leading projects with assets exceeding EUR 2.5 billion, and product development in real estate, private equity, and infrastructure. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Manager at HOCHTIEF Airport GmbH, focusing on the evaluation and development of airport business units. Christian holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute and obtained degrees from The University of British Columbia and Technische Universität Berlin.
