Ronald Barrett

Ronald Barrett has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, project management, and business development. As a Senior Adviser at March Consulting Associates Inc. since 2012, Ronald focuses on corporate and project management life cycles, particularly in the surface mining sector. Previously, Ronald served as the Owner of Metalist Canada from 2010 to December 2011, where business development for a German manufacturer in North Africa was the primary focus. Ronald held the role of General Manager at IBS Oil Services from April 2004 to March 2010, overseeing a team of 85 staff and managing a $35 million project with Harouge Oil. Early in Ronald's career, from September 1984 to May 1999, significant contributions were made at Mobil Oil Libya, supervising cost engineering and operations for substantial crude oil production and pipeline systems. Ronald's education includes a focus on contract law and risk analysis from George Brown College and a degree in quantity surveying and cost engineering from Ryerson University.
