Amy Swenson-Tiano has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1994, they worked at Fagans Graphic Design and Promotion as a Designer, Desktop Publisher, and Office Assistant. In 2000, they became a Software Engineer at eFinance, followed by a role as a Web Developer, Project Manager, and Business Analyst at Critical Mass from 2002 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2005, Amy worked as a Flash Developer at Fat Spaniel Technologies before becoming the Owner of Make One Yarn Studio in 2006. Amy successfully ran a retail and online yarn business with a focus on social and digital marketing strategies.

In 2008, they joined the Glenbow Museum as the Digital Lead and New Media Coordinator, leading projects and designing web properties. Amy then became a Writer for Blue Jays at Aerys Sports from 2011 to 2012.

Starting in 2013, they worked for the Ontario Government in various roles, including Team Lead, Digital Communications, Cabinet Office Communications; Senior Manager, Ontario.ca, OneSite, and Digital Projects; Assistant Director, Ontario.ca; Director, Business - Ontario Digital Service; and Director, Platforms and Data. Amy played a crucial role in digital and IT initiatives, policy development, and team management.

Amy's most recent role is as Vice President, IT and Digital Innovation at March of Dimes Canada, starting in 2022.

Amy Swenson-Tiano earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History and Writing Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Amy completed their undergraduate studies from 1995 to 1999.
