Séverine Abhervé is a seasoned music project manager with extensive experience in film music promotion and education. Currently serving as Music Project Manager at Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes since November 2019, Séverine oversees the SPOT THE COMPOSER program, which includes networking events and conferences featuring renowned composers. As the CEO and Talent Agent at My Soundtrack Agency since September 2018, following the rebranding from Marie Sabbah Agency, Séverine also founded and managed Agence Traxzone, specializing in film music promotion. Previous roles include project and cultural action management, lecturer for the Master Degree Course in Film Music at University Paris 1 - Pantheon Sorbonne, and various positions in festival coordination. Séverine holds a Graduate Diploma, Master Research, and PhD Degree in Cinema from Université Paris 1, alongside an Advanced Diploma in Sound Engineering from EMC and extensive training at the Conservatoire.

The Marché du Film began in 1959 as the very first international cultural event to launch in the post-war period. What started as a tiny canvas screening room, perched on the roof of the old Palais Croisette, has now become one of the most influential film industry hubs in the world. Each year, we open our doors to over 14,000 professionals from around the world, where they are able to share ideas, network, and present and discover almost 4,000 films and projects in development. Our constant aim is to stimulate the vitality of the film industry worldwide and ensure that professionals have the tools to develop their activity before, during, and after the Festival.
