Michael Shimbo

Michael Shimbo is an experienced executive and founder with a diverse background in media, entertainment, and consumer-facing businesses. As the Founder and Executive at Large of Shimbo Works, LLC since 2016, Michael has engaged with executive teams to drive growth and innovate operations. Additionally, Michael serves as an Executive in Residence at Marcho Partners, an Advisor to The Design Museum, and has held various executive roles, including Executive of Global Growth at Godfrey Dadich Partners and Executive of Global Strategic Media Partnerships at Red Bull Media House. Previous ventures include founding PTA (PlanesTrains+Automobiles), serving as Senior Manager of Creative and Strategy at Apple Inc., and leading digital content strategy at Live Nation. Michael holds a BS in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and was pivotal in launching the first VOD network dedicated to live music performances at Stingray.
