Jhan Huayra

Jhan Huayra is an experienced mining engineer with a strong background in mine planning, currently serving as the Short Term Mine Planning Head at Marcobre since September 2018, after holding the position of Medium Term Mine Planning Engineer. Previously, Jhan Huayra worked at Hudbay Minerals Inc. from September 2015 to June 2018 as a Junior Planning Engineer and Graduate Mining Engineer, where responsibilities included various planning aspects for the Constancia Open Pit Mine. Early career experience includes internships at Minera La Zanja SRL and Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. Jhan Huayra's academic qualifications include ongoing pursuit of an MBA from Universidad del Pacífico and multiple diplomas in strategic mining management and financial analysis. A Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering was earned from the National University of Engineering.
