Ronald Hernández Velásquez

Ronald Hernández Velásquez is a seasoned professional in the mining industry, currently serving as Jefe de Mejora Mina at Marcobre since January 2023, and also as an Associate at the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú since June 2022. Previously, Ronald held positions including Operations Engineer at Antamina and Marcobre, as well as Short Term Planning Engineer and Drill and Blast Engineer at Newmont Corporation, where notable achievements included successful software implementation for corporate use and leading cost-saving projects. Ronald's early career involved pre-professional internships at Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A., Rio Tinto, and Pan American Silver Corp.
