Kelly Cohen

Kelly Cohen has extensive experience in the field of Jewish education and community engagement. Kelly is currently serving as the Senior Director of Experiential Jewish Education at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA). Prior to this role, they were the North American Director of Education for Diller Teen Fellows, where they led the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Fellowship program curriculum. Kelly also has experience as the Director of JumpSpark at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, where they focused on raising teen engagement through various initiatives. Earlier in their career, they served as the Judaic Studies Coordinator at The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy and as a Renaissance Educator at Temple Isaiah of Lexington.

Kelly Cohen earned a Bachelor's degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University between 2000 and 2004. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Jewish Education with a Certificate in Day School Education from Hebrew College. During the same period, they completed the Pardes Educators Program, earning a Certificate in Advanced Jewish Studies from the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.

In addition to their degrees, Kelly Cohen has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Jewish Leadership for Educators from the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Kelly has also participated in various fellowships, including the Created Equal National Educators Fellowship, Generate Fellowship Mentor, Generation Now Fellowship, and M2 Senior Educators Cohort.
