Jim Markel

Jim Markel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim started their career at Marcus & Millichap in 1998 as a Senior Agent, where they worked until 2004. In 2003, they joined DT Group as the Chief Acquisitions Officer and served in that role until 2013. Markel then returned to Marcus & Millichap in 2013 as the First Vice President/Regional Manager, overseeing operations in multiple offices and managing a team of approximately 100 agents. Jim'sleadership and expertise have contributed to their success in the commercial investment sales industry.

Jim Markel attended Loyola Marymount University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business. Jim later pursued further education at FIDM from 1990 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Product Development.
